BASICS 2025

Bay Area Strings, Information & Cosmology Symposium

QMAP, UC Davis, November 8 and 9, 2025

QMAP will host the 3rd edition of the Bay Area Strings, Information & Cosmology Symposium. The inaugural meeting was held at UC Santa Cruz (BASICS 2023), and the 2nd edition was hosted at UC Berkeley (BASICS 2024).

The meeting will take place in Roessler Hall, room 66. The venue is across from the Physics and Astronomy building and a stone's throw from the QMAP center (which is situated in the Physical and Data Sciences building). You can find Roessler Hall on the campus map here.

Registration:

To help us plan for the event, please register at the following Google web form. While there is no registration fee, and the event is open to all active researchers, we need a headcount to know how many people plan to attend. Please register before Oct 29, 2025.

Logistics:

Participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for accommodation and transport. Information about transportation, lodging, restaurants etc. can be found on a previous event page: Davis Practical Resources.
